The only real context for a
work of Art especially an abstract
piece is the context of the work and
the viewer.
And yet we always try to
understand the context between the
work and the worker. What made the
Artist so what’s done? What are the
nuances of this language?
An art show tries to establish
this context. The Art, the Artists, the
name, the setting its all geared for
establishing that context. This show
is no exception, though it is
exceptional. The context is
Âmrüt - Ânubhâvã the experience of
total oneness of the universe. A feel
of the universal unity.
This experience is achieved
when the tension between opposites
is perfectly balanced, when duality
revolves itself. Its rare moment of
bliss. Male-Female,Inward-Outward,
Yin-Yang, Movement-Stillness,
Captivity-Freedom,Birth-Death…
they all revolve into Life, where such
contexts do not exist. Where Jeevan
is Âmrüt - Ânubhâvã
