My work is a personal extension of
my inner life and collaboration with my husband, the poet Michael
Alpiner. My work chronicles my life over the past six years, starting
with my husband’s battle with Hodgkin’s disease and ending
with the recent birth of our daughter Emma Grace. The bird theme ties
the work together by representing an Arcadian spiritual aspect, motherhood,
and the solace my husband and I find in bird watching. |
